How we work

A clear, compliant procedure — from first enquiry to final cargo.

Every transaction follows a transparent, internationally recognised sequence, so both buyer and seller know exactly what happens next and when.

Transaction procedure

Eight steps to a closed deal.

  1. 01

    Enquiry

You send your requirement — product, specification, quantity, delivery terms, destination port and timeline — through our enquiry form or by email.

  2. 02

    LOI / ICPO

Buyers issue a Letter of Intent or Irrevocable Corporate Purchase Order on company letterhead. Sellers provide a Full Corporate Offer (FCO).

  3. 03

    KYC & due diligence

Both counterparties complete KYC: company registration, passport of the signatory and banking details. We verify every party before moving forward.

  4. 04

    Contract (SPA)

A Sales & Purchase Agreement is drafted, setting out product, specification, price basis, quantity, Incoterms, inspection and payment terms.

  5. 05

    Proof of product & funds

The seller provides proof of product (e.g. tank storage receipt, injection report, SGS). The buyer confirms ability to pay via POF or bank comfort letter.

  6. 06

    Payment instrument

The buyer's bank issues the agreed instrument — DLC, SBLC or bank guarantee — or payment is made by MT103 against documents.

  7. 07

    Inspection & delivery

Independent inspection confirms quality and quantity at loading. The product is lifted, shipped or transferred tank-to-tank as contracted.

  8. 08

    Settlement

Payment is released against the agreed documents. For term contracts, the cycle repeats for each monthly lifting.

The exact sequence is agreed in each contract and may vary with the product, Incoterms and payment instrument.

FAQ

Common questions.

Can't find your answer? Ask us directly.

What is the minimum order quantity?+

It depends on the product and delivery terms. Tank-to-tank deals in storage can start from smaller lots, while vessel cargoes are typically from 10,000 MT upwards. Tell us your requirement and we will advise what is workable.

Do you accept spot and term contracts?+

Yes. We handle single spot cargoes as well as 12-month term contracts with monthly liftings, with options to roll over.

Which payment methods do you work with?+

Documentary Letters of Credit (DLC), Standby Letters of Credit (SBLC), bank guarantees and MT103 wire transfers after successful inspection — always through reputable, top-rated banks.

Who does the product inspection?+

Independent inspection companies such as SGS, Intertek or Saybolt, at the loading port or terminal. Their certificate of quality and quantity forms part of the shipping documents.

Can you help us obtain an SBLC or bank guarantee?+

Yes. Our banking instruments desk assists clients in obtaining SBLCs, BGs, LCs and proof of funds through established financial institutions, subject to their own compliance approval.

Do you work with brokers and intermediaries?+

Yes, provided the chain is transparent and every party completes KYC. Brokers' commissions are protected under a signed NCNDA / IMFPA.

How is confidentiality protected?+

We sign NCNDA agreements where appropriate, never disclose counterparty details without consent, and handle all documents securely.

How quickly will you reply to an enquiry?+

We aim to respond to complete enquiries within one business day with next steps or the documents we need.
